Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Where it comes from

From you. We do not buy health information, infer it from your browsing, or collect it from your device, your doctor or anyone else. If a physician's office or another partner referred you, they do not send us health information and we do not send them any.

Why we collect it

For one reason: to coach you safely and well. Specifically, to:

• Decide whether we should ask you to get medical clearance before training.
• Plan sessions that work around a condition, an injury or pain rather than through it.
• Know when to stop, modify, or refer you back to a medical professional.
• Deliver assisted stretching only within the consent you have given.

Consent

We ask for these answers with a clear explanation of why, and every question can be skipped or answered "none". Answering is your consent to collect and use the answer for the purposes above. We do not use health information for any other purpose without asking you first, separately and specifically.

Who can see it

Your coach and the Sound Fitness staff who plan your sessions. It is stored by the providers that run our systems for us — Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting) — who process it only on our instructions and cannot use it for themselves. That is the complete list. Health information is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared with a referring partner, an employer, an insurer or a sign-in provider, and never disclosed except where the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.

How long we keep it

While you are a client, so your coach has the history that keeps you safe. When you close your account, we delete it within 30 days. You can also ask us to delete specific answers at any time without closing your account.

Your rights

For consumer health data you may, at any time:

• Confirm whether we hold it, see it and receive a copy — use Export data in the hub, or email us.
• Withdraw your consent to our collecting or using it — tell your coach or email us. We will stop, and we will explain if that limits what we can safely offer.
• Have it deleted — use Request account closure or ask us to delete specific answers. Deletion reaches our systems and every provider that stored it for us.
• Appeal a decision we make on any of these by replying to it. We respond within 45 days, and if you are still not satisfied you may contact the Washington State Attorney General.
