After physical therapy

Keep training after physical therapy ends

Structured in-home strength coaching for Seattle and Eastside adults who have finished physical therapy, have clearance for general exercise, and want a clear plan for what comes next.

What to expect

Physical therapy ends on its own schedule, and the structure it gave your week ends with it. Sound Fitness picks up from there with general fitness coaching at home, built around the guidance your provider sent you home with and kept inside the range where you feel steady.

General strength work that starts where physical therapy ended

Sessions shaped by the guidance your provider sent home with you

Loads, ranges, and pacing kept inside what feels steady to you

A set time on the calendar to replace the appointment that just ended

Session flow

Training notes and planning tools for an in-home assessment
1Confirm your clearance for general exercise and read the guidance you were given

Clearance comes first, and the notes you were sent home with become the boundary the plan is built inside. Nothing gets added to that guidance without your provider.

Coach assessing movement during a training session
2Look at how you move today and what your home has to train with

This is a fitness assessment, not a clinical evaluation. Your coach watches balance, control, and confidence, then checks what space, stairs, and equipment your home already offers.

3Train general strength, balance, and mobility inside your steady range

Sessions stay ordinary on purpose: standing up, stepping, carrying, and lifting the things you handle around the house anyway. Progressions are small and easy to walk back.

Progress tracking for between-session coaching support
4Log the session and set the next step, with app-based support coming soon

Each session is written down so the next one is a deliberate step rather than a guess, and you leave knowing what to do on the days your coach is not there.

Good fit if

Simple in-home training setup in a living space
1You finished physical therapy in the last few months

A routine is easier to keep while it is still fresh than to rebuild after a few quiet months. Starting sooner means less of it has to be reassembled.

Beginner-friendly strength training session
2Your provider has cleared you for general exercise

Clearance is a requirement here, not a formality. If you still need skilled care, physical therapy is the right place for it, and coaching does not replace it.

Mobility-focused coaching support for stiffness
3You are not sure what to do now that the appointments stopped

The exercises you were sent home with are a starting point, and they stop being a challenge well before it is obvious what should come next.

Structured programming and accountability support
4You would rather train at home than start over in a gym

Your coach drives to you in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Renton, and the surrounding communities, so there is no gym floor to navigate, no waiting for equipment, and no explaining yourself to strangers.
