The days between sessions matter
A coached session is important, but the week around it matters too. The plan becomes more powerful when you know what to do between appointments and what can wait for your coach.
Between-session work should be simple enough to repeat, even during a normal busy week.
Keep homework small
A realistic homework plan might include a short walk, two mobility drills, one strength practice, or a simple tracking note. It does not need to feel like a second full workout.
Small assignments create momentum because they lower the barrier to starting.
Track the right signals
Useful notes include energy, soreness, sleep, exercises completed, and anything that felt better or worse than expected. Those details help your coach adjust the next session intelligently.
Tracking should create clarity, not guilt.
Plan for imperfect weeks
Consistency is built by returning to the plan, not by having perfect weeks. If travel, work, or family disrupts training, the next step should be clear and doable.
Sound Fitness builds coaching around real schedules so progress does not disappear when life gets crowded.
