Use stretch where it helps the week
Assisted stretch can fit before a training block, after harder sessions, during a stiff workweek, or as a separate recovery appointment. The best timing depends on how your body feels and what you want the week to accomplish.
It should support the larger plan rather than compete with it.
Before strength work
Some clients benefit from mobility or light assisted work before strength training because it helps them access positions more comfortably. This does not need to be long or intense.
The goal is preparation, not exhausting the body before the main work.
After long sitting or travel
Desk-heavy days and travel can make hips, backs, shoulders, and legs feel restricted. A stretch session can be a useful reset when the body has been in the same position for too long.
Pairing that with simple homework can help the benefits carry into the rest of the week.
Communicate during the session
Assisted stretch should stay comfortable enough that you can breathe and give feedback. If something feels too intense or not useful, the provider can adjust.
Sound Fitness uses communication and practical planning so stretch work fits your training instead of feeling random.
